Terms and Conditions for “Dream It, Do it” contest




1) Elegibility

The minimum age of the submitting and participating person is 18 years of age at the time of submission.

Prospective entrants must first accept the contest’s terms and conditions before submitting any of their creations/pieces of jewellery. Entry into the competition is acceptance of these Terms and Conditions.

2) How to participate

The submission of pieces of jewellery must include the name of the contest in the “Subject” area and the required information in the “Message” area.

Upload your photos in JPG format, with a minimum resolution of 150 dpi. The file size must not exceed 4 MB. Only three files are accepted per submission.

The intellectual property rights will remain with the designer. Each entry must be entrant’s own original creation executed solely by entrant. With the submission of a piece of jewellery to the competition the participant shall ensure Beautiful People Live Art free unlimited right of use of photos of jewellery pieces to send, make available to the public, present at virtual exhibitions, in digital publications (maximum price for the download $ 10), in promotion materials, in printed material, and in the World Wide Web.

3) Evaluation of creations

The selection of the submitted creations will be made by Beautiful People Live Art, according to the criteria of quality, creativity and relevance to the topic of the virtual exhibition. This selection is final and it cannot be challenged.

The selected creations will become part of the virtual exhibition. This gallery allows anyone who enters the website to vote on each creation and enter comments. You do not have to enter a creation to be able to vote or comment. Become also a contributor by voting, commenting and spreading the word.

4) Prizes

The most voted jewellery designer wins a Beautiful People Live Art solo virtual exhibition.

Special Award: Beautiful People Live Art will select a jewellery designer for creation of a monography which will be digitally published and distributed.

5) Originality of Creations

The participant and submitter confirms that the pieces of jewellery submitted must be original and emanate from the participants themselves. All submitted creations must not be protected by copyright- or other rights and/or infringe on the right of third parties. This includes copyrights, logos, trademarks, trade names or proprietary rights. The copy of creations from other sources is not allowed. Any form of copy will lead to immediate disqualification. The submitters and participant shall indemnify and hold harmless Beautiful People Live Art in case of any third party claims.

6) Publication of pieces of jewellery

Persons who submit their ideas to this online platform accept that all submitted pieces and comments will be published in the World Wide Web and will be available to an infinite number of users. Participants agree that creations are commented and voted by other users. Beautiful People Live Art and/or the organizer of the virtual exhibition reserves the right to edit or delete any visual or written contributions on the website without any explanation, for example, if they are *inappropriate, obscene, defamatory, libelous, slanderous, profane, indecent or unlawful; *infringing or misappropriating third party intellectual property rights; *constituting “hate speech”, whether directed at an individual or a group, and whether based on the race, sex, creed, national origin, religious affiliation, sexual orientation or language of such individual or group; *promoting or containing viruses, worms, corrupted files, cracks or other materials that are intended to or may damage or render inoperable software, hardware or security measures of this contest, its participants or organizer.

7) Data Protection

Personal data concerning the submission of creations will only be used by Beautiful People Live Art, if not otherwise agreed to by the submitter.
