Stanley Street Gallery, Sidney

Statment

Stanley Street Gallery is a new gallery in the heart of Sydney. This elegant space is a sanctuary from which to enjoy the diverse array of artists and work.
Merilyn Bailey and Liza Feeney met as students in 1980 while studying at Sydney College of the Arts, majoring in Contemporary Jewellery. Together they have established a new space with a focus on Contemporary Jewellery and metal work but also including Painting, Photography, Sculpture and Ceramics. The space is a surprise, a hidden oasis where you are invited to enjoy your lunch or a coffee in the tranquil courtyard. There is a workshop attached to the gallery, this is where Merilyn, Liza and Diane Appleby make their own pieces.
